Landscape design

My landscape experiences encompass a broad range of public and private spaces in and around the NYC area. Project scopes vary from private brownstones, penthouse terraces, to complex condo-co-op buildings.  Understanding and meeting clients expectations through providing necessary design and building documents, budgeting, to management of projects entire life cycle is key to successful projects.

These selected projects illustrate an array of wonderful collaborations that is vital to success of any project.  I have had the pleasure of working with a large number of leading Landscape architects, designers, contractors, developer, building managers, vendors, craftsmen, irrigation and lighting specialist, horticulturist, and clients, that make each project unique.  Each of these entities play a crucial role in the creation of these projects and project management.

Garden Care and Seasonal Enhancements

My professional experience ranges from installing a vast array of brownstone gardens, public and private oasis throughout NYC. I provide custom designed garden and terrace maintenance programs that range from weekly, to monthly service programs, with a product range from plant health care to extensive seasonal enhancement programs.

The Kips Bay Designer Show House was a terrific collaboration with the Hollander Design Group. the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club, is a non-profit organization that each year transforms a luxury Manhattan home into an elegant exhibition of fine furnishings, art and technology. The Kips Bay Decorator Show House raises critical funds for much needed after school and enrichment programs for New York City children.  My scope of work through Town and Gardens was the project management of transforming a raw roof terrace to a elaborate event space within a four week time period.  Project management included, organizing various planting and furniture vendors, craftsmen, nurseries, irrigation and lighting techs. Overseeing installation of all component to create the finished space.

Classic Montclair Renovation of foundation garden beds, redefining lawn, and entertaining areas. Introduction of exterior rooms at the rear landscape incorporating a mix of classic materials in a modern definition.

Landscape Maintenance and seasonal rotational programs

My day to day experience as a sales manager for a leading national award winning design+build+maintain comes with the responsibility of managing award winning sites that have comprehensive maintenance programs that are highly tailored to the site conditions and client’s needs.  My experience ranges from private client programs to large commercial and public spaces. From plant health care to quality control reporting, to fine horticultural detailing, my knowledge is consistently expanding looking critically at the life cycle and delivery system of each program. I have a background in horticultural studies and experience as an maintenance foreman and account manager.

God's Love We Deliver

Project Management+Installation

 God's Love We Deliver Soho Building, was a terrific collaborative project with Sawyer Berson Design group and the Gods Love We Deliver non profit organization for their new building in Soho. Scope of work included the project management and installation of an extensive vegetable-herb garden and entertainment area on the main roof terrace, and several mix-used terrace areas.
